I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong, may be someone can give me some tips, I'm not trying to do anything fancy yet I'm just trying to incorporate some code. For starters I don't have a code button but I have a view html source button, if i type some text and click on the bold icon it does it, then I can click on the html button and I see that the code is correct < b> text </b>, so then I copy and paste from notepad the text with the style tags thinking that is going to keep the html code but i get this any suggestions?

Robert. Thank you for taking the time to look into my question, I was in a rush and didn't formulate my question very well, the problem is when trying to search for features using the buffer, It works great inside the county network but for the general public it doesn't. I triple check the proxy settings, I asked IT to modify the F5 firewall, I upgraded the security of the web server but can not figure it out this issue. It also does not when performing the second query the first query works fine (in case this helps): SQL Where with layers definition expression: Upper(PIN) = Upper('33300110900000040010000000') SQL Where with layers definition expression: MUNICIPAL = 'BLOOMING GROVE' AND Upper(PRINT_KEY) = Upper('1-1-1')

Robert, Thank you very much for all your help and patience, the app now works everywhere! Now I just have to re-do it all because the NYS GIS servers are NOT https:// and my site is, might as well update to 2.6 since is out and you already enhance the widget, but now i know lots of tricks thanks to you. Thank you Robert! I did the changes but I don't think it made a difference, the only way for me to check from outside the network is with my phone, do you know of an IOS app similar to chorme developer tools? Daniel

Good morning Robert! I was able to jump the last hurdle but I'm facing the next one, I had to update .NET to 4.5, now I can see the listing of the REST Services folder on ArcGIS Online in JSON format when I test the proxy from the webserver, from my desktop and even from a mobile device (IOS). the widget performs great on my desktop (now I know is because is inside my network). I don't know where else to check since the proxy is working, I did edited the config.json from the app to point to my geometry server and added the address of the proxy.ashx page, but the buffer search still gives me a "search failed !" message from the mobile device, any suggestions? Thank you , Daniel

Robert, I set up the proxy with no luck, after many days of trouble shooting still is not working when I go to http://localhost/proxy/proxy.ashx?ping I get the below message: Microsoft (R) Visual C# 2010 Compiler version 4.0.30319.1 Copyright (C) Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved. c:\inetpub\wwwroot\proxy\proxy.ashx(160,30): warning CS0168: The variable 'e' is declared but never used c:\inetpub\wwwroot\proxy\proxy.ashx(561,69): error CS0117: 'System.Net.SecurityProtocolType' does not contain a definition for 'Tls12' I have a server win 2008 R2 with .NET 4.0, I applied all the MS updates, I edited the registry to make sure TLS 1.2 is working, an ssl report from ssl labs shows the protocol TLS 1.2 is good, I understand this might be out of realm of the app but I'm hoping you have seen this behavior and have a suggestion. thank you! Daniel
