I am in a similar situation where I can have an OLE DB connection using Microsoft OLE DB Provider for ODBC Drivers, but as soon as I try to add a table to my map the program crashes. Can't move to 3.0 per our IT department. Can't move backwards due to known symbology and snapping issues with previous versions. Pretty aggravating.

I'm running into the same problem. Apparently the method used within the generate points along line tool only works in 2d. https://community.esri.com/t5/arcgis-pro-questions/generate-points-along-a-3d-line/m-p/1205885#M59007

@JohannesLindner thanks for the insight! Your explanation makes sense to me but unfortunately I'm not well versed in python. I'll attempt to fiddle with the code to get it to accept a polyline feature class.

I have wellbore layers that are 3D. I want to create points along the wellbores at 1' intervals in 3D. I ran the Generate Points Along Line tool with Z and M values enabled. The output created points at 1' intervals in 2D. My 12,000' wellbore only had approximately 6,000 points. Anybody have a solution? Using Pro 2.9

I created a model that runs fine when I tell it to. I set it up to automatically run nightly via the scheduler feature in ArcPro. It fails every time and doesn't provide any errors or info. I have successfully used the scheduler to run a geoprocessing tool nightly for quite some time. Anybody have a similar experience? The model that is failing to run via the scheduler starts out with a script. Could this be part of the problem? I'm using Pro 2.6.3 Thanks, John

Sorry, I really don't know anything about this stuff.... Who's server certificate are you referring to? Is it good practice to have a certificate verified?

I have a small Python script that essentially downloads a zip file, unzips it, and saves the contents (shapefiles) to a folder on my network. It stopped working not too long ago and I'm not sure why. I was testing each line in the Python Consol, and when it got to the last line shown below (zipresp = urlopen(zipurl)), it gave me a bunch of errors that I don't understand. Can anyone tell me more on the errors? from urllib.request import urlopen

I am trying to add a chart frame to a layout in Pro 2.5. The Format Chart Frame box pops up and I enter the inputs. Sometimes a chart will show up (having most luck with histograms), and sometimes it won't (haven't been able to show a Moran's Scatterplot yet, it always freezes the project). If I do get a histogram to show up, then I try to change the chart to a different one, the chart disappears from the Chart Frame and it's just a blank box. Is this a documented bug? Anybody have any tips? Thanks.

I'm attempting to size my points by total production (double) and color by operator (text). So if I understand you correctly, I need to create a new field and populate it with a hex color code for each unique operator? Also, when I use this method, the size differences between my points are hard to discern. Most of the points look small and no matter what I set the size to, they remain the same size. Am I missing something on how to control the size of the points? I can successfully control point size when I'm just using graduated symbols, but I think I am doing something wrong with this Symbol Property Connection.

I have a point shapefile and I want to vary the symbol size using a numeric attribute and vary the color using a text attribute. It seems like you can do one or the other but not both. Thanks.
