I am getting an Error trying to publish a Map Service using ArcGIS Server 10.1

can anyone tell me how to get around this error, or what I need to fix in my map to
get this service to publish ?? I got my google on, but could not find any references to
"codes = 62" ...

Thanks in advance for your time and help.

Greg, it could be a problem with some settings related to the map document you authored. I've seen this when having null fields allowed for certain integer fields as well as definition queries that go to the area field.

Check a couple of threads in here: http://forums.arcgis.com/threads/61467-ERROR-001272-Analyzer-errors-were-encountered-%28codes-7%29 and http://forums.arcgis.com/threads/67063-Error-when-publishing-a-feature-service-by-using-ArcMap-10.1

I'd go first with publishing "raw data" added from the geodatabase to test if the data can be reached and read. Then check all the definition queries set for the layers and any ODBC connections.

Good luck!

Hello Greg,

Looks like you're hitting an analyzer error 00062: Data frame contains data that does not use the same connection to an enterprise geodatabase. I've provided the link to the help topic below.

http://resources.arcgis.com/en/help/main/10.1/index.html#//00sq00000084000000

This analyzer appears if you attemp to publish an mxd to ArcGIS Server with:
- a data frame with layers and/or tables that are from multiple enterprise databases or versions AND
- the data is registered with the data store/server AND
- you are publishing a map service with Features Access capabilities (feature services) or WFS capabilities with transaction support (WFS-T)

It also appears if you attempt to publish to a spatial data server and the mxd you are trying to publish has a data frame with layers and/or tables that are from different enterprise databases or versions.

This error should have appeared in the Prepare window when either you clicked Analyze or Publish.

To fix this, your mxd should contain data that is coming from the same database connection.
