Help please:
I have to determine the accessibility of urban populations to green space within ArcGIS 10. I have the spatial analyst license, but not the network analysis license. I have attached an image to try and explain my goal.
I am trying to determine what green space (pink polygons) is accessible to the populated area (blue polygon) using the linear road and path polylines. So the results will state that the population in the blue polygon can access the greenspace polygons (in pink) via route x, y, and z.
I am hoping there is functionality in spatial analysis to help with this but i am a little lost as to how to get started? Maybe rasterise the polygons and creat cost rasters, then corridors?
