My attempt to clip Cook County's Building Points to Chicago's Police Districts fails when I choose a custom location to save the ouput.  Only when the ouput location is set to the default folder will the geoproccess succeed. This is on a network computer and files saved to C: are temporary.  This is why I want to save to my network drive M:.

Why can't I specify a custom location? I have a .gdb created for Chicago. The photo below shows the proccessing results.
