Is it possible to customize the Stand Alone Table controls?

Hello,

I'm wondering if it is possible to insert my own button/control on the Table window shown in the attached JPG file? I know I can customize the context menu but I'd rather place my own button onto the window. If it is possible would you kindly provide details on how to complete the task.

There's an enhancement below addresses the same issue:

Add the ability to customize the Attribute Table window buttons in ArcMap Customize Mode.

The status of the enhancement is "New" which means Esri Dev team is reviewing the enhancement.

I can find anything on NIM059046, any development on this I am also looking to do this.
