Having used cost allocation analysis to work out maximum distance a lifeboat can travel in any direction from its station in a set time, I was very disappointed to see the raster produced was radiated out as a hexagon rather than a smooth arc. Is there any way that the settings can be changed to an arc, as the hexagon only shows the true distance travelled at the angles of the hexagon.
I cannot use eucludian distance, as I have to allow for obstacles.
I have attached a image of two cost allocation rasters with one having an eucludian distance raster behind it.
