I have some GPS data which has been collected using WGS84. I??ve downloaded the data and saved these as csv files (I can??t return to the device and import directly using DNR Garmin etc, as its been re-used). I??m trying to get the projection from this data to match up with British National Grid.
I??ve added the data to the map (using Tools -> Add XY Data and set the geographic coordinate system to WGS84). When I compare it to the background raster data (projected in BNG) it looks slightly offset, so I know I need to re-project the WGS84 data to BNG. When I use the project tools to project WGS84 data to BNG, I get the following message:

ERROR 999999: Error executing function.
invalid extent for output coordinate system
Failed to execute (Project).

Can anyone help?
I??ve attached the metadata (from ArcCatalog) for the GPS data. Its driving me potty and I reckon it must be quite simple... Thanks for reading!
