"Get Directions" only appears in pop-up when I'm signed in

If I am signed in to ArcGIS Online, and I click a point on my map to open the pop-up, in addition to the blue "zoom to" link at the bottom of the pop-up box, a link to "Get Directions" also appears.  When I sign out, or when the Public accesses the map, the "Get Directions" link does not appear.  I know this must be incredibly simple, but apparently so am I.  Can someone please tell me what I'm missing so I can move on to other things?

Get Directions is an added feature available to organizational subscriptions. It is not available with public accounts (free) or when anonymously viewing maps.

So the public, accessing our page from their phone/computer, simply cannot see/use the "get directions" link.  It's available only to those signed in with an organizational account?
