Installation Order

Hello,

We are planning out our migration to 10.2.2 from 10.0 SP5. We have decided to upgrade all 120 installations of Desktop first, then tackle Server and the database. My question is, which order should we handle the installation? Desktop, Server, then the Database (SQL) OR Desktop, Database, then Server?

I guess the underlying issue is whether or not ArcGIS Server 10.0 SP5 can serve data that has been upgraded to 10.2.2.

The geodatabase is almost always last to be upgraded in the Esri software stack. That said, according to the SDE functionality matrix, a 10 sp5 client should be able to connect to a 10.2.x geodatbase:
