Please Help - Point, Density Analysis

Discussion created by mapgirl85 on May 24, 2014

I'm trying to figure out the best way to represent density based on proximity.

Basically I collected a number of points in the field and want to show how those points interact with each other, in terms of proximity.  There's no attribute data in these collected points, they just represent a positive identification.  So is there a way to run a spatial analyst tool that will generate a classification of high/medium/low density based on point proximity to each other.  I tried point and kernal density tools but didn't get any outputs that I was anticipating...maybe I was only halfway finished or I did something wrong
