Why does Detroit look different?

the Data Driven Detroit Open Data Site appears to have different settings on the display. For example the dark banner and the wider window display.

How come? Can one edit the site even further outside the application?

Hi Reeta,

The D3 site applies some custom styling, when configuring their home page. There is some simple CSS styling that can be applied in a widget, the footer for example, that will style the site to set the background, header color and so on. We will share some examples of what can be done and how in the future.
