Is there a trick to getting the app to query against my feature layers vs the geocode server?

Is there any way to do this with numerical fields?

At this time, numeric fields are not supported. Could you provide you use case so that we can understand what numeric fields you want to be able to search?

well, we have feature ids and such that are strictly numerical fields. Honestly, that's about the only thing that we would need to be able to search. I have way too many to recreate as text fields.

What are the types (ex: esriFieldTypeInteger)?

a mixed bunch...some are short integer....some long.
