Login to Portal for arcGIS without entering user and password

Dear All,

I have installed Portal For ArcGIS and I have another application that will be pointing to the Portal for ArcGIS, and every time I call the portal home page, it asks me for the user credentials again, I do not need to do this, I want the Portal to use the user and pass I use in my origin application.

Is there a way to send user and password to the portal, and use it as the portal user?

I'm not sure what the other application is that you're referring to or what type of security model it uses.  The only way I'm aware of for passing credentials to Portal for ArcGIS is to use Windows Active Directory as the integrated user and role store.  Passing authentication credentials from another third-party application may require custom coding.
