Hi,
I have a polygon file and a point shapefile. What I would like to do is merge or join the two so that every point can be associated with attributes from the polygon shapefile. What is the best way to tackle this? Right now I don't have anything in the tables that can link the two shapefiles. I just need to extrapolate the information where the the two shapefiles overlap. Suggestions?
