I have an SQL table as a feature class containing ID and Shape. I need to buffer the shapes but not lose the ID from the input table. How do I output the ID when I buffer? Using Arcmap 10.2. Thanks!

Well not sure about the solve but here's what I did.
I built the buffer layer, did a spatial join back to the original to get the ID but it kept the point rather than the buffer polygon so I joined the buffer and spatial on objectID to put it all together.
I wasn't all that comfortable with assuming the objectID's where built in the same order but physical checks looked ok.
