Consuming WCS into ArcMap. Issues with NoData values and Simbology

Discussion created by pyonono on Feb 28, 2014
Hi all,

I am using ArcMap 10.1 to consume a WCS (Web Coverage Service), version 1.0.0.

The image is a 16-bit signed raster stored in the server, and when I try to simbolize it Arcmap cannot read the values (bathymetry), because instead of :

Max: 387.575
Min: -5746.97

is reading:

Max: 306
Min: -32768

So, I think that the problem is that ArcMap cannot interpretate the NoData values from the server (-32768) using the WCS, maybe not implemented yet?

In addition, in the symbology tab using the wcs you only see Stretched and Discrete color, so classified and unique values are missing.

Shall I not use 16-bit signed raster images for wcs?, any other people with similar issues?, is this issue solved in 10.2?
