I am trying to install ArcSDE 10.0 on a Windows Server 2003 R2 machine. Whenever I run the ESRI executable, I get the popup "The configuration data for this product is corrupt. Contact your support personnel" I have ArcGIS Desktop 10.0 as well as ArcGIS Server 10.0 loaded on this machine. It has Oracle 11g as well. I have installed SDE 10.0 on other machines with similar configurations, and it works fine, so it seems to be something with this particular machine and this software. This machine has had ArcSDE 10.0 installed on it before, so I am not sure if something got left in the registry or what. Any insight or help on this would be greatly appreciated.
