Is there settings to make the image section smaller and the map section wider?  It seems on my computer the image is about 70+% of the screen width and I thought I would like to see what it would look like at 60% width and map 40%

No, that's isn't configurable yet.
It's not super easy to change through code but it's doable.
It's on the feature wish list.
