I confuse about folder or file geodatabase registration. At this time, since GIS server machine is running slow. Physical memory is over 85%. I try to ask publisher to share their local folders on Network rather than physically copy their folders to GIS server machine. I give full permission on local folder and share it on network. And then I registered the folder through using UNC path (\\hostname\users\folder1\test.gdb) as publisher folder path and Server folder path. It works! However, when I publish a feature class in test.gdb, an error occurs saying the layer must be registered. Any thought? Thanks!
