We use DGN files provided by a client as a basemap for our Arc layers. These are imported into Arc using the "white" icon that imports the whole drawing as one layer. When the map is exported to PDF, the text from the DGN is compressed so there is no space between the letters and it is hard to read. The option to export fonts to the PDF is checked. This worked correctly in 9.1 but not after moving to 9.3.1. Any help would be appreciated.
