problem to connect excel 2013 data

hi,
there is a constant problem when I'm trying to add excel data with Arc Map10.1. A message come that"failed to connect to database.An underlying database error occurred.Class not registered." My OS is Windows Home Basic, 64bit. Microsoft Office 2013. I am using Arc Map10.1. Plz give the solutions.

Try to import the Excel data in 97-2003 (compatible) Excel document.


If it doesn't work, then you must install 2007 Office System Driver: Data Connectivity Components . I haven't installed this driver on a machine with MSO 2013. It worked on a machine with MSO 2010.
