Hi,
I've got a raw sidescan sonar image, with regularly spaced stripes at 45 and 135 degrees respectively (NE-SW, and NW-SE).
After extensive searching I'm aware that I need to apply some kind of directional fast fourier transform (FFT) to the image to remove the stripes.
Only thing is I have no idea how to do this in ArcGIS!
The image is provided as part of a PhD dataset; I need a nice DEM to work with. At the moment I cannot quanitatively use the DEM for anything, as the stripes add error!
I will also add that the image is quite large, and was exported from a .dat in SMT Kingdom and re-gridded in Arc.
Thanks
Kieran
