CityEngine Web Viewer - "Aw snap" message from Chrome on an Android tablet

I have a 3D webscene in AGOL which I'm trying to view on a Nexus 7 Android tablet.

The webscene can be viewed in Chrome on my desktop no problem (although it takes 30 seconds or so to load up).

It takes around a minute to load on my tablet but when the 'loading' screen disappears and the web scene window appears it hangs for about ten seconds before Chrome displays the "aw snap" message to indicate that the site crashed.  The webscene itself with the background maps and 3D objects never appears.

Any advice?

Officially, CityEngine is not supported on mobile devices...

However, can you share your webscene with us?
Does it work for you with smaller webscenes?
