How to check/uncheck layers not group of layers

Hi all

In this map you can see that it has 4 groups of layers:
- Map Notes
- Water
- Sewer
- Storm water


But when users browse a map to check the water, storm water or sewer network they can only check/uncheck the whole group, but they also want to uncheck some layers to only see for example valves, pump stations, pipes of a certain type, etc.

How can we go from the group level to the layer level to check/uncheck them?

Three of your layers are hosted tiled service, meaning they are pre-created tiled images. For these layers, you can't turn off the individual sub-layers inside of it because the tiles are just images and are generated when you generate the tiles. Thus, they can't be dynamically changed.
