Proxy page error with arcgis online world street map service

Our amazon instance went down last week. I spent the whole weekend rebuiling an onsite VM to replace it. What I pain!

I have the basic viewer that we host- I use a proxy page for securing our own services. Nothing has changed with the app other than me creating a new token.

The map won't draw. Firefox gives me this error:

"NetworkError: 500 ConnectFailure - http://gisprod01v/proxypage_net/proxy.ashx?http://services.arcgisonline.com/ArcGIS/rest/services/Wor..."

Is it trying to use my token to connect to online service? Can someone help with this issue?
