Binding GraphicsLayer to a TimeSlider by code

Hello,

I'm using Arcgis SDK for WPF version 2.4. In my application I create a dynamic, on-the-fly simple GraphicsLayer - each graphic in the GraphicsLayer has a timeextent attribute that is given at the time of its creation. I'm trying to bind the GraphicsLayer to a TimeSlider control by code (like this example, but in wpf and using a graphicsLayer) - I'm setting a timeextent for the map and going through all the steps, but the Graphics aren't binded to the slider. Am I doing something wrong? How can I get it to work? any advice will be welcomed.

Thanks in advance.

Enclosed is my source code:
