Desktop client for Geoportal 1.2.2 and ArcGIS 10.2

Folks,

I just installed the new Geoportal 1.2.2 (replacing my old Geonetwork installation).  I ran to publish metadata directly from ArcCatalog or ArcMap, but I could't find yet any integrated tool to do this.  I took a look to the geoportal 1.2.2 installation directory and found a folder named Desktop Tools, but these tools only works for ArcGIS desktop 10.1... what's going on for 10.2 installations?  Are we out of luck?

I assume, by the time is taking to answer this simple question, that there's no available desktop client to publish metadata with ArcGIS 10.2.... why it has to be so difficult to do simple tasks with integrated tools??
