attribute inspector current feature symbol

I'm working with an editor and setting the attribute inspector as a separate instance which works better than the info window in my opinion.

Is there a simple way to set the current feature symbol when more than one feature is selected?

I noticed that as the next and previous buttons are clicked the current graphic is brought to the top, but it is real hard to differentiate features none the less.

This seems like basic functionality; just like ArcMap shows a selected feature within a selection as yellow instead of cyan.

I started playing around with added functionality to achieve this result but it started to get way to complicated for something that should be built in any way.

If I'm missing something please let me know.

If not please consider something like setSelectedPointSymbol, setSelectedLineSymbol, etc for the attribute inspector.

And another suggestion: Remove from selection link in attribute inspector.

Thanks.
