Anyone have any experience having your GIS data in the amazon cloud OR Google Cloud. If so, how do you access the data from the ArcMap. Upon going to the Connect to Folder, then how to access Cloud Server?

I do not have experience with it, but just judging by the fact that Amazon services use REST or SOAP over HTTP, that tells me that it is not a folder so you probably go to Add ArcGIS Server > Use GIS Services. You may need to download and install ArcGIS Server Cloud Builder on Amazon Web Services onto your Desktop machine.
