ARCGIS - crashing when attempting IDW

Hi,

I'm having an issue with ArcGIS 10. When I attempt to run IDW using the spatial analyst, the program crashes and the following error log is generated:

EventType : BEX     P1 : ArcMap.exe     P2 : 10.0.1.2800     P3 : 4cbcef19    
P4 : RasterEngine.dll     P5 : 10.0.1.2800     P6 : 4cbcbbe1     P7 : 000110dd

Any idea why this is happening?

Do you have Service Pack 1 installed?
What Operating System are you running?
Can you run other Spatial Analyst tools?
Can the same data be used in Natural Neighbor interpolation?
Have you rebooted your machine recently?
