This is my first attempt at customizing the simple viewer from ArcGIS online.. removing the legend, resizing the popup, changing the fonts, the spacing, etc. Using the inspector tool to help identify what to change in the .css.

I noticed that the desktop.css and the chrome.css have references to the same id's. For example #leftPaneBody exists in both. I understand that the desktop.css controls the styles for the desktop, but what is the chrome.css, pavement.css, and seaside.css for?

thanks.

Hi June, the chrome.css, pavement.css, and seaside.css are other themes that can be applied to the template(s).  The default theme is chrome. In the init() method is where you can set the theme.
