Hello

I am working with 2012 Washington D.C crime data. It has about 35,000 incidents. I have broken down the file into two different files non-violent offense and violent crimes. I want to know a couple of things:

Is this data set too large to work with to perform Getis-Ord General G & Hot spot Analysis Getis-Ord Gi*?

I choose to work with Fixed_distance band, what is a good method for determining the distance band or threshold distance?

Any help would be greatly appreciated
