I work for a municipality and would like to share some of our maps with the general public from our city website. Can I put a link to the map on our site that will not require a log in on arcgis.com?

To do this, you will need to modify the sharing permission of your web map (and all its content). In your web map, click on the Share button and check the box next to Share with everyone (public). You can also use the share option in My Content. Check the checkbox next to the title of the item you want to share and check to share with Everyone(public).
