Hi all,
When I installed arcgis server, A separate account called "arcgis server account" was created. How do you manually grant the account permissions to access the data folders on the server? This may be the cause of why I can not access my files via the javascript api, since once I publish the map service, the account cannot write the files to the directory the service is looking at. I'm not all that certain if that is how it works.
