My System environment: Windows Server 2008 R2

                                   ArcSDE 9.3 for Oracle10g

                                    DataBase Server: 10204_vista_w2k8_x64_production_db

                                    Oracle Client:   10201_client_win32_x32

First, I can't install ArcSDE 9.3 for Oracle10g when there is no  Oracle Client. After installing Oracle Client, I install

ArcSDE 9.3 for Oracle10g  successfully.

When the number of connections  exceed 90? Oracle info:TNS-12531: TNS:cannot allocate memory, there is no error log in ArcSDE. The field  "connection" in  the table of Server_Config is already 500. The memory is enough.

I connect to Oracle directly by SQL Plus? there is no error when the number of connections  exceed 800.

How to solve the proplem in the number of connection?

You need to upgrade your client to at least 10.2.0.3 (the minimum), or all to
the same release as the server 10.2.0.4.  ArcSDE will not function correctly
with Oracle 10.2.0.1, which is known to give spurious permission errors and
to fail frequently.
