Hi all, tia for reading. I have Alberta postal code points (just shy of 1 million) and municipal boundary polygons (444 polygons) and I'm trying to find a good way to create an output feature class that lists all 1 million postal codes and append the code for the municipal polygon.
Postal code fields=
objectID, Lat, Long, Postal Code
OBJECTID * PostalCode * Latitude Longitude Place Province Shape *
Municipal Polygon fields (SGC Boundaries)=
OBJECTID * Shape * CSDUID CSDNAME CSDTYPE PRUID PRNAME CDUID CDNAME CDTYPE CCSUID CCSNAME Muni_Code Shape_Length Shape_Area
So far, I've failed to successfully spatially join them and have the results create a new feature class with SGC Codes appended to the Postal Codes. CCSUID represents the 7 digit code I'd like to relate.
