I am hoping to store the object that is returned from a call to new esri.layers.ArcGISTiledMapServiceLayer(url) locally. Currently this object is returned with a 262 second timeout so if a user refreshes the page or navigates away and back to the page in offline usage the page will not work as it will need to call out to the server to recreate this object.
