Geoprocessing

I have a geoprocessing service I put together that autopopulates a specific field in my database based on other field parameters entered while editing a feature service in my Flexviewer application. I would like my field crew to be able to use that same tool in the mobile application that I created in AGOL. Is that possible?

I have read some other posts that this might be availiable in the fute. Can you give me an update of guidence on this issue?

Mobile applications developed using our Web APIS and our native Runtime SDKs include support for executing Geoprocessing tasks. If you have developed your own application using either of our APIs then yes you can add support for your service. If you are using our ArcGIS app  (either the browser or the native apps available through the app stores) or Collector app then unfortunately no - there is no way today to configure the application to use a geoprocessing service.
