If there is already a thread on this can someone please provide a link? otherwise my question is this,
when you add a web service to arcMap or view it in the services directory you can see all the layers in the map document that you published, even with a tiled map service. Is there any way to restrict this? i would essentially like to hide the table of contents, and not show any of the layers within my web services similar to what you would see if you added some arcgis online basemaps to arcmap, you can see some sub layers but they all appear empty.
