We are getting the following error
" unable to save edits.
unable to reconcile : the target version is currently being reconciled against.[sde.DEFAULT]
The version has been redefined to reference a new database state. [sde.DEFAULT]"

ArcSDE 10
Oracle 11.2.0.2
Windows 2008 Server
ArcMAP 10

The editors are using the sde default version , and the feature class is versioned as move to base edits. While doing the save edits, this message is visible.

We have migrated the ArcMap user to citrix server. is there any known issues on this

Please help what cause the issue..

Thanks in Advance
Dave

there is alot out there when googling this error message but nothing conclusive that i could see.
have you tried to 'reset' your sde environment? restart the sde server or services, do a post and reconcile and assure that it completes successfully.
also, where are you seeing that message? is it in arcmap when saving edits or in catalog when reconciling?

Have the user save their edits and close out of their ArcMap & ArcCatalog sessions. Then use sdemon to check if it shows them still connected. If it does, "kill" that connection. Have them re-open their mxd and try again.

sdemon -o info -I users -i <Service> -s <Server>
sdemon -o kill -t <process ID> -p <password> -i <service> -s <server>
