I know this is a long shot. Here it goes... in the near future will ESRI allow the publication of map services to ArcGIS online without the need for ArcGIS for Server? I would like to be able to have the carefully selected symbology (hatches, dashed lines, text labels) all transfer over and appear in the final product that I upload to our organizational account. If I am mistaken in my understanding of the abilities of ArcGIS online and the just Desktop 10.1 and and organizational account will accomplish what I have already suggested please let me know, and point me to some literature that provides these instructions. ArcGIS for server is not an option for me.
