TOC not closing sub layers of a group layer on uncheck

I have a layer "Prikljucni plinovodi" with query definition for "sublayers" as per picture
When i uncheck the layer "Prikljucni plinovodi" one would assume it would disable and hide the rest of the "sublayers" but it doesnt
(as seen on picture).
Does this TOC support definition queries (since i think these sublayers are a result of definition query)?
Is this default behavior?

this is the situation. And TOC only closes one 1st sublevel not every other subsequent layers. Is that a bug?
