Can't Access Server Logs in Server Manager 10.1

Hi,
I am having issues publishing a service. I've tried to access the server logs but there aren't any. When I go to settings and set the level and log file path(local drive) and hit save, it give me an error that says "Unable to connect to Log Service". Anyone know how to fix this?
