Hi All,
I'm a rookie with python et al. I'm using ArcMap 10, sp3.

In field calculator (well, any tool really), I'm trying to select certain records in a table and populate a field with another based on the selection. I'll explain here:

If a record in the "PUSE_CODE" field is "999" I would like the "SITE_ADDR_" field to be populated with the data from "SITEADDR".

So manually I know I can highlight all the records which have the "999" designation, right click on "SITE_ADDR" and use the field calculator to equal "SITEADDR". I need to set it up to run in a model so I don't want to do it manually.

Can this be done with an if then statement? Something like If puse_code = "999" then SITE_ADDR_ = SITEADDR? Not sure on syntax.

Thanks for any help!
Tiff
