Any help is appreciated.  I am expecting to be able to access the x/y values of the Geometry being created in the function.  Am I not correctly calling the function? (new to Python).

def createPT(x, y):    m_point = gp.CreateObject('Point')    m_point.x = x    m_point.y = y    m_pointGeom = gp.CreateObject("geometry", "point", m_point)    return m_pointGeom   newPointGeom = createPT(pLLx, pLLy) gp.AddMessage(newPointGeom.x) <--- fails
