I've never used the Network Analyst extension before but I need to now (and at work no less). I need to have a network of lines that connects to every point of my point shapefile. For example, if my points were A, B, and C, A would have lines connecting to B and C, B would have lines connecting to A and C, and C would have lines connecting to A and B. How do I do this using Network Analyst? Is Network Analyst even the correct extension?

If it is the latter, then you can use the OD CostMatrix solver to load your points as origins and destinations and solve. It will compute the shortest path between each pair and write it out with a straight lines connecting all the pairs. See the doc here:
