I used model builder to do a union between a shape file and an SDE feature class which runs fine. I exported the model to a python script. When I run the python script, I get the Error "Failed to Execute. Parameters are not valid." I tried changing the code to use a python list, but I still get the same error.

import arcpy  # Local variables: holder_select_shp = "C:\\GIS_Temporary\\holder_select.shp" AT_SDE_DBO_Acadian_Holder = "Database Connections\\Connection to TROUSSELL.sde\\AT_SDE.DBO.Acadian_Holder_Dataset\\AT_SDE.DBO.Acadian_Holder" holder_select_union_shp = "C:\\GIS_Temporary\\holder_select_union.shp"  # Process: Union #arcpy.Union_analysis("C:\\GIS_Temporary\\holder_select.shp #;'Database Connections\\Connection to TROUSSELL.sde\\AT_SDE.DBO.Acadian_Holder_Dataset\\AT_SDE.DBO.Acadian_Holder' #", holder_select_union_shp, "ALL", "", "GAPS")  arcpy.Union_analysis([holder_select_shp, AT_SDE_DBO_Acadian_Holder], holder_select_union_shp, "ALL", "", "GAPS")
