Dissolve Statistic Error in Published Model

I published a geoprocessing model to ArcGIS Server 10.0 that does the following:

  1. Accepts a user-defined point as a feature set

  2. Buffers the point by a user-defined distance

  3. Clips a shapefile of 2010 census blocks (input features) using the buffer (clip features)

  4. Calculates the population of the clipped features using a population density field and shape area field

  5. Dissolves the features in the clipped region and sums the values within the calculated population field

The model works when run in ArcMap.  When it is published to ArcGIS Server and run from the service, it returns the dissolved feature to the client (ArcMap), but the field containing the population estimate is always zero (0).  The model published with no errors, and there are no errors in the server log or within the geoprocessing results messages.  Anyone have a suggestion?

Thanks!
