I am noticing that any AMI that CloudBuilder spins up from Oregon 1a is not configured properly. I have launched both a Medium and a Large Windows AMI using the default setup. The server starts up, etc; but ArcGIS Server does not belong to a site. When I try and add a new site I get the following error: "Failed to create the site. Failed to create the service 'System/CachingTools.GPServer'". I have followed the steps outlined in KB Doc 40465 but I am still getting the same error. Can you please confirm that the June AMI for CLoudBuilder is configured properly? Thanks.
Hi Blair, I can't duplicate the issue with the released version of 10.1, Are you using the released version of the AMI with the released version of cloud builder? Can you provide more info about the versions you're using?
